I busted out the potty a few months ago. We talk about it and practice all the time because the day after her 2nd birthday it's bye bye diapers. We'll officially start potty training and lay down the plastic because there is no going back. I'm open to all honest comments on this post by the way.

I busted out the potty a few months ago. We talk about it and practice all the time because the day after her 2nd birthday it's bye bye diapers. We'll officially start potty training and lay down the plastic because there is no going back. I'm open to all honest comments on this post by the way.

That is the best way to go. Just take it easy and make it fun or she will get stubborn on you. DO NOT cave in to putting a diaper back on her. Dont buy pull ups they are just more expensive diapers. Do get her the really thick cotton underwear at Walmart in the baby section. You can even get rubber covers to put over them if you need to go out. Also dont be afraid of mistakes because they will happen. Just bring lots of extra clothed and undies and plastic bags. Every store has papertowels to clean up. Dont forget to keep an extra pair of shoes in your car because when they pee it usually goes in their shoes. Call me if you need help I would love to come over and help. :)
