Christmas 2008

We had 3 Christmases this year. I was so excited to stay home and have a "real" family Christmas. Then we opened the big gift a few days before, and had to wait for my family to get in the weekend after. So on Christmas morning, basically Paul and I exchanged gifts. It felt different when I was little. Grace got a retro kitchen that perfectly matches our real kitchen. (She has better appliances though)
Sleepy head didn't want to get up that morning. She likes to play hide and seek in her bed. I think we let her sleep in until 8 or 9 am.
The famous real orange and chocolate orange in the stocking. She is humming while she enthusiastically eats her chocolate.

'Twas the week before Christmas and there was no tree. Gifts with no tree, how could this be? No time left for a real one, fake one was in the attic (of our rental, long story), so away to Walmart we went in a panic. We bought a fine tree, it was already lit and with only one ornament it did sit. As a beacon to all , there are no scrooges here, Berry Kiss-mas to all and to all a New Year!
