To celebrate last year and welcome in the new year, we always have an awards banquet. This year was the best because I swept in all the categories. Last year I was a princess and this year I was the Queen of Queens! Paul even won #1 husband. He had to keep track of his stats too and gets to choose a cool hunting knife or binoculars prize.
My prizes are ribbons and very nice jewelry. I beat over 100 other women. In Mary Kay world the ribbons are more prestigious than the prizes. I got a new bling pen and business card holder. When I'm in Dallas, I'll be getting a few more prizes. Mary Kay can be so fun. Part time job with full time bling.
My Director May Dawn. She is the most inspirational person and has helped me grow tremendously. She drives 6 hrs (one way) to train me each week. What a sacrifice, but it worked. I'll be a director by December 31 and on my way to Cadillac.
Diane Campbell and I. We were both the top of our units. We won some of the same prizes and she is my sista winna! Good job Diane. We ate at Made in Brazil (just like Rodizios) and the food was super delish, but the the lighting was not the best for pictures.
This blog is mostly about Grace. She loves that I'm home all the time and mostly work when she naps. She enjoyed the rare treat of a babysitter last night and took the opportunity to decorate the bathroom with one of a kind colored pencil drawings. We did another photo shoot yesterday and I have to say show me your teeth instead of smile to get these shots. She is my legacy and MK is my means.
