Salina Canyon Camping

For pioneer day we spent some outdoor time with our friends The Thornton's. Grace went on her first 4-wheeler ride. She's been on a houseboat, jazzie and airplane but never a 4-wheeler. As you can see, she loved it!!!!! Jim's an excellent driver.
Our tent has as many bedrooms as our house. But our tent has a much better view.
We ate the hugest potluck breakfast. Iron Chef Paul did it all (as far as the Walkers go). I see Debbie on bacon duty behind him. She's a regular Cat Cora in the kitchen.
The reservoir where we fished and had a tailgate picnic. The scenery was so beautiful and the weather was perfect. Lots of clouds for shade but it never rained on us.
We took a 4-wheeler ride and took a stop at the overlook to a coal mine. Looks very small and benign, yet we know how tragic it can be to work there.

Oh man! Camping always reminds me of Utah. I guess 'cause that's the only place that I ever went camping! :) Looks like you guys had lots of fun!
